Reserve Your Wedding Date and Accommodation
The first step in booking your dream wedding is to secure your wedding date and room at one of our resorts. Choose a check-in date, three business days before your wedding date to ensure a smooth process. If you’re unable to arrive 3 days before, we offer an expedited license option for an additional fee.
Required Paperwork for Getting Married in Belize
(This will be completed on arrival during the welcome meeting with your planner)
If neither party has been previously married, we will take care of the following paperwork:
- Fully completed Marriage License Application Form, notarized by a Justice of the Peace (we will handle this for you)
- Photocopy of your passport showing your profile picture in color and date of arrival in Belize
If either party has been previously married, we will also require the following:
- Original Divorce Decree
- Fully complete Marriage License Application Form, notarized by Justice of the Peace
- Photocopy of your passport showing your profile picture in color and date of arrival in Belize
If either party is a widow or widower, we will need:
- Original Death Certificate
- Fully completed Marriage License Application Form, notarized by a Justice of the Peace
- Photocopy of your passport showing your profile picture in color and date of arrival in Belize
Planning your ceremony & Reception
After reserving your wedding date and room, your wedding planner, Esmy, provide information to start planning according to your style and preferences. Approximately 1.5 months before your wedding, you will receive a banquet event order for your approval, which details your ceremony, reception, and any additional events. Payment for this should be made 30 days before your arrival. On your special day, our dedicated wedding team will be onsite, carefully setting up all the decor, and ensuring a beautiful backdrop for your unforgettable experience.

Beachside Ceremony & Reception Venue at each Resort
Experience the enchantment of having your ceremony and reception on the beach, with the Caribbean Sea as a breathtaking backdrop. As the sun dips below the horizon, creating a canvas of warm hues, your evening celebration comes to life. Please note that Belizean Shores have an event curfew at 9:00 pm, while at Coco Beach and Belizean Cove, it extends to 9:30 pm, ensuring a magical culmination to your special day.

Booking Process
A 30% deposit is required for each room to confirm the booking, with the remaining 70% due 15 days before your arrival. Full payment is required for bookings made within 15 days of the arrival date. We accept Visa, Master, and American Express cards.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your reservation, please notify our Sandy Point Resorts Reservations Department in writing at [email protected].
Reservations canceled more than 24 hours before arrival will receive a full refund. Reservations canceled within 24 hours of arrival will be considered a no-show, and total penalty charges will apply.
